The data controller for the https://reconfiguringterritories.net -websites is Trojan Horse / Finnish Design Summer School ry. This means that we are responsible for deciding how and why we hold and use your personal data. We collect personal data when you fill a form to apply to our events such as (Re)configuring Territories Spring Schools and when you browse our sites. This information is used to evaluate applications and to analyse how visitors use our sites.

- What you have written about why you are interested in Reconfiguring Territories Spring School / How do you imagine the Spring School will influence your work;
- What you have written about the way you would travel to Narva;
- What you have written about your interests in specific workshops;
- What you have written about how you heard about the Spring School;
- What you wanted to ask us.

The data you provide when you apply to the Spring School will be shared with the Spring School mentors and organizers for evaluation and event administration purposes.

We will not share your personal data with anyone else for their own marketing purposes unless we have your permission to do this.

We keep your personal data for only as long as we need to. How long we need you personal data depends on what we are using it for, as set out in this privacy policy. (Re)configuring Territories is a three-year-project so your data will be stored at least until 2022.

If you have submited an application on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
How we protect your data
We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational controls to protect your personal data against unauthorised processing and against accidental loss, damage or destruction. Unfortunately, sending information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data once with us, we cannot guarantee the security of any personal data sent to our site while still in transit and so you provide it at your own risk.
